Phoenix teaches American Freestyle Karate, which means that we're not held to one specific style of traditional instruction. We teach a variety of traditional forms that focus on strong basic skills that help our students grow stronger in "open" forms as well. Our students will have forms unique to our school that equip them to compete if that's something that interests them. We also train our students in weapons, including bo, Kamas, and sword.

We'd love for you to schedule a day to come try out a class we offer. While our students wear black gis for karate classes, anyone coming in for a free karate class can wear a t-shirt and pants (sweats, joggers, or leggings). Phoenix Combatives students wear a t-shirt and knee-length shorts or pants, so anyone coming in for a free combatives class can wear the same. Please reach out to schedule your free class!
